The title is part part of a quote from writer Carl Sandburg and the full quote is as follows:

“Valor is a gift. Those having it never know for sure whether they have it till the test comes. And those having it in one test never know for sure if they will have it when the next test comes.”

The reason for the title oddly enough has to do with WOW. In the game each week a single toon can earn up to 1000 Valor points by doing raids, dungeons, scenarios, daily quest and a variety of other things. Earning the Valor is is more easily done with with raids and dungeons but is not impossible via the other methods. Below is a screenshot of my valor total for the week for several characters. Remember the first number is the actual valor earned for the week.

The pic shows my Shaman Rimaba having 307 Valor but by night end last night I had 907. In total for for 5 toons over a week period of Tuesday through the following Monday I had a total of 3467 valor. For those who know the game know that is a lot of valor.
